Senior Water Process Engineer

The main function of this role is to accurately assimilate the client requirements, to provide client consulting and engineering solutions in water management. To prepare detailed reports and support the process design department by adapting and applying engineering techniques, conduct tests, inspections, on-site troubleshooting on water treatment, and coordinate design and commissioning resources for successful project execution. Responsible for process design and the sizing of equipment as well as process flow diagrams and P&ID's and PDC.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering is essential
• B.Sc Hons Water / Wastewater Sciences; BSc Hons Water Utilisation; MSc Chemical Engineering will be advantageous

Memberships

• Professional Engineering Technologist or Professional Engineer will be advantageous

Job-Related Experience Required

• 10+ years process Engineering/Chemical Plant Operation or Management will be advantageous

Job-Related Knowledge Required

• Key design criteria for 8 Water Treatment Unit Operations will be advantageous
• Intimate knowledge of Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis Systems Design and Operation will be advantageous
• Experience in Water Quality Management or Water Integration within a Mine or Industrial Complex will be advantageous
