    Social Media Manager

    Social Media Manager 

    An incredibly diverse health food brand seeks a creative Social Media Manager to be responsible for the social media content and community management, while also contributing broader creative ideas across 4 brands.

    You will need to have experience in creating content across 2 or more different brands and understand how to adapt content, tone of voice etc. Somebody with a fine art / advertising / creative background would be ideal. 

    Main Responsibilities include:

    Creating and disseminating digital content for 4 brands by:

    • Developing strategic content that articulates the various brands’ voices & strategies
    • Actively grow the social media followings for all 4 brands
    • Management of social media channels, and executing brand content in social channels

    Duties:

    • Developing strategic content that articulates the various brands’ voices & strategies:
    • Works closely with Marketing Manager to define and maintain the 4 brands’ voices.
    • Works cross-functionally, specifically with NPD and supply chain teams to produce content campaigns that seamlessly weave narratives around seasonal and other offerings, suppliers and sourcing, sustainability, etc.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant to create campaigns to support seasonal product launches, new store openings, promotions, partner activities, CSI and other campaigns.
    • Actively grow the social media followings for all 4 brands:
    • Implement creative social media campaigns to grow social media following
    • Strategic use of influencer marketing to grow reach, awareness and social media following (conceptualization, management and execution of influencer campaigns)
    • Proactive community management with following to drive engagement
    • Management of social media channels, and executing brand content in social channels:
    • Posting content at relevant times to maximise reach and engagement
    • Community management on social media channels, including liaising with the customer care team to ensure the satisfactory resolution of customer complaints flagged on social media channels.
    • Understand how social media channels fit into the various brands’ digital ecosystems
    • Understand ROI of efforts; report on channel results and performance in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, actionable and understandable

    Requirements:

    • 2 - 4 years relevant experience, including proven experience with Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
    • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Advertising or Social Media
    • Editorial skills
    • Content development
    • Copywriting
    • Trend conscious
    • In depth knowledge of all social media channels incl. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram
    • Understanding of channel best practices and ability to apply them
    • Good technical understanding and able to pick up new tools quickly
    • An understanding of paid media
    • Up to date with all new developments in the industry
