Specialist Contract Management at Petroplan

• To oversee, co-ordinate and / or perform Contract Management within on all Contracts in designated portfolio of projects throughout the project life cycle (from contract award).
• To take accountability for contractual change management, deviation management and approvals in terms of the relevant Delegation of Authority
• To control the number and quantum of changes, claims and disputes by proactively managing adherence to obligations

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

• Required entry Qualifications: A Grade 12 or a National Diploma (Commercial/Law)
• Required entry Years of relevant experience:
• 0 - 2 years' experience in Capital Project Execution
• Must have previous experience in Contract Management.
• Worked under Manager on up to 8 Tier 3 projects

Core elements of the job:

• Ensure that the Contract Management function is aligned to the overall strategy of and that all relevant governance is adhered to.
• Maintaining compliance of contractors with the terms and conditions of contract and commercial procedures
• Manage the sourcing process for medium complexity capital projects
• Oversight, reporting and checking of scope creep.
• Collect and analyse and provide information relevant to any dispute and propose remedies.
• Overseeing all aspects of contract management and contract change management, including the coordination of signing and loading of changes
