SQL Developer at DRA Global

Job Summary:

The main purpose of this exciting position will be to develop SQL queries, stored procedures, integrations, and reports based on functional specifications provided for the Business Optimization Program project.

An energetic individual who will be confident to liaise at all levels such as fellow team members, business stakeholders, third party vendors and other entities to ensure the successful deployment of the program.

We want your advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate data sets (e.g. Import CSV/TXT, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, concatenation, substrings, and IF logical expressions).

Technology

• Microsoft SQL Database Technology (T-SQL);
• SQL Server Reporting Services;
• SQL Server Analysis Services;
• SQL Server Integration Services;
• XML and JSON;
• Microsoft Excel, and
• Power BI.

Formal Qualification Required

• Senior Certificate is essential
• Bachelor’s degree: BSc – Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent will be advantageous
• ASP.net, C# certification will be advantageous
• MS SQL T-SQL certification will be advantageous

Job-Related Experience Required

• 3 years involved in database development is essential.
• 3 years of demonstrated experience using SQL technology is essential.
• 1+ years of experience in structured release & deployment best practices will be advantageous.
• 1+ years of experience training and supporting users will be advantageous.

Job-Related Knowledge Required

• A good understanding of data structures (XML, relational, object-orientated, etc.) is essential.
• Demonstrate the ability to think critically and analytically is essential.
• Proven ability to organize and clearly communicate thoughts and ideas is essential.
