• 5 years experience in a Heavy Industry.
• Civils, Structural, Plumbing, Rail maintenance, HVAC systems, Quality assurance
• Experience within the Pulp & Paper industry will be beneficial
• Recognition for prior learning will be considered/given

Qualifications & Expertise

• National Diploma - Civil Engineering
• B.Tech Degree would be an advantage
• Exposure to design and interpretation of Civil reports generated from inspections

Functional Outputs

• Manage HSEC requirements for all service providers: Civil`s, Plumbing, Rail, HVAC systems
• Scoping of Civil work in various BU’s
• Managing contracts: Plumbing Maintenance, Rail Maintenance, HVAC systems maintenance
• Supervise Civil contractors work onsite
• Perform general road repairs
• Execute Roof and Sheeting repairs
• Repairs and maintenance of the Mill’s perimeter fence line
• Perform building maintenance by the use of competent Civil companies
• Maintain underground services: Potable water, Sewer, Effluent lines
• Budget control - Civil’s maintenance budget
• Promote safety, health and environmental issues
• Accurate reporting.
• Control of contracts

General

• Computer literacy including SAP is essential
• Permit Issuer/Owner
• Knowledge of Maintenance Business Processes (Workorder Management, Repairable Items, etc)
• Advanced computer literacy in MS Projects, SAP PM Module, and MSOffice
• Knowledge of procurement workflow and processes
