System Support Engineer at AllCash Technologies (Pty) Ltd

Role and Responsibilities

• The successful candidate would be responsible for installation, upgrade, maintenance, support and configuration of software products and projects both on-site and remotely. They would also have to be able to consult on the correct usage of the systems and changing of processes required. Ensures that all installations are performed accurately and timeously. If not in a position to resolve the query, then escalates the problem accordingly.
• Conducts testing procedures on company data to ensure that it is configured to meet client requirements. Conducts testing procedures on software releases to ensure that they are bug-free and operate successfully in the client environment.
• Freedom to act within given instructions and established work routines. May vary routines after agreement with Manager

Requirements:

• English and Afrikaans professional literacy.
• Relevant Post Graduate degree / Microsoft Certification with system, installation, configuration and product knowledge.
• Must be familiar with Windows Server, Client, MS SQL, and other Microsoft Packages.
• Must present a pleasant manner and must have good communication skills, administration skills and organization skills.
• Must be prepared to travel in order to meet the client’s requirements.
• Own a vehicle and have a valid South African drivers license
• Must be able to work within a team environment.
• Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
• Have to reside within an hours travel from Midrand.
