    Talent and Learning Specialist

    Job Description
    We are looking for

    • An incumbent that will be able to engage effectively with Global Shared Services Senior Leadership in identifying solutions that could help and support the business
    • Someone that understands competency frameworks and how to build competency frameworks
    • Understanding the complexity of a matrix organisation
    • Up to-date with skills development in industry understanding what the new capabilities are based on digital platforms and the way organisations are transforming
    • Previous relations with well-established 3rd party vendors
    • Understanding and identifying different types of training solutions
    • Experience in dealing with SETA’s
    • Good understanding of Learning Management Systems
    • Solid Talent Management experience
    • Strategic thinker who is customer centric
       

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Statutory skills reporting including compiling annual skills plan for Global Shared Services
    • Building competency frameworks
    • Building career pathways
    • Consulting with the business to understand new capabilities that maybe required
    • Managing the Study Assistance programme
    • Finalise annual Training priorities and needs
    • Creating a yearly calendar on various projects
    • Stakeholder Management
    • Managing the training budget
       

    Qualifications
    You will need the following:

    • A relevant HR Bachelor’s degree
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience working in a L&D and Talent Management environment with at least 2 years’ experience in people management
    • Demonstrated track record in a business-facing internal advisory/subject matter expert role, delivering solutions in the functional area/s of Talent Management/ Organisational Effectiveness/ Organisational Development.
    • Solid experience in understanding skills gap analysis; skills reporting; e-learning and building new capability
