    Tender and Quotation Sales Specialist

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Be responsible for commercial tenders, from reviewing the initial request to tracking and managing the tender process to submitting the final bids to purchasers.
    • Maintaining the administration of the tenders
    • Prepare bid documents if required
    • Ensuring tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
    • Managing the preparation of all technical, financial and if necessary project management aspects of the bid or estimate or quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
    • Evaluation of eligibility criteria. Require understanding and analyze the details of an RFP
    • Attend briefing sessions and collect all tender/proposals documents
    • Compilation of Proposals, Bids and Tenders
    • Responsible for defining, scheduling, and managing the proposal preparation process
    • Writing of the proposals as well as research required for input into the proposals.
    • Overseeing the proposal process; coordinating efforts and ensuring all timelines are met
    • Keeping abreast of various sources to identify opportunities for Company to bid in relevant RFPs.Bids/Proposals Administration
    • Collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal, including both technical and cost elements.

    Skills and Competencies    

    • Experience in Tender and Proposals preparation.
    • Previous experience in a service business, a plus.
    • Prior experience with providing administrative support in a sales or commercial environment
    • Experience in prospecting for published tenders on different media platforms
    • Experience of Engaging with the Public / Private Sector at all levels.
    • Exceptional knowledge of BBBEE legislation and requirements.
    • Exceptional knowledge of Public / Private Sector tender regulations.
    • Experience in property/facilities management or related industries
    • Good knowledge of facilities management market, marketing principals, prospecting, approaching

    Qualifications    

    • Matric/Grade 12
