    Training Content Developer

    Job summary:

    As a Training Content Developer, you will be required to create training materials for processes within the organisation specifically pertaining to WorkDay. You will be required to look at various sources of information and create a streamlined training manual for each function and module.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create engaging course content in the format of a process manual (RACI).
    • Work with subject matter experts to identify the appropriate responsible individuals within each process step.
    • Apply best practices in instructional design.
    • Maintain project documentation and course folders.
    • Review business processes and update the training material accordingly.
    • Identify business process gaps, ensure that business processes are properly updated and documented.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 with a training material content development certification.
    • Minimum 5 years working experience in training material content development.
    • Experience creating system training content development.
    • Strong understanding of the user experience pertaining to cloud ERP systems.
    • Experience within WorkDay will be highly advantageous.
    • Highly proficient on PowerPoint with solid knowledge and experience in Hyperlink. (Additional experience in Google Slides or Articulate will be advantageous).
    • Better than average written and spoken communication skills. (English – excellent read, write and speak).
    • High attention to detail and ability to create a professional and engaging look and feel in training materials.
    • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and with deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently.

    This will be an initial 6 month independent contract, with the possibility of extension.
