Job Description

• Work with overseas BUs to help them better manage their FX exposures (including the use of derivatives) and minimise FX gains & losses reported in the P&L
• Requires understanding of FX risk management
• Requires understanding of accounting for FX derivatives
• Requires an ability to communicate effectively and influence people at all levels in the organisation
• Work with central Finance as part of the monthly reporting process
• Requires experience in reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Requires an ability to work to tight deadlines as part of the scheduled reporting
• Other ad hoc requirements including:
• Accounting and reporting in respect of the group's 5 Year cross currency interest rate swap and the group's net investment hedging arrangements
• Providing contingency cover for aspects of the group's treasury operations

The Successful Applicant
The Incumbent Needs To Have The Following

• Open to South African citizens only
• Must have a finance related degree(non negotiable)
• Derivative contracts experience/knowledge(forward contracts)
• 4-5 years of relevant Treasury experience at a minimum
• Foreign Exchange experience(essential)
• Must have multinational experience
• Must have management level experience
• Must be hands on
• Knowledge of different types of hedge accounting
