    Youth Employment Consultant - Hunter (contract)

    About The Role

    • Take ownership of the process from initial appointment through to post employment support
    • The Youth Employment Consultant role would see you creating and identifying unique individual employment opportunities for participants
    • You will support young participants with complex needs to address barriers to employment and achieve their ultimate goal of obtaining and maintaining long term stable employment
    • You will be working with a range of participants in the Transition to Work program operating within our customer centred service delivery model. The best part about assisting a participant is you get to support the participant along their journey and share in the positivity that employment brings.

    Is this you?

    • Do you like helping young people achieve their career goals
    • Ability to relate and interact with individuals with complex barriers
    • Ability to act on own initiative and follow policy guidelines
    • Can strike up a conversation with anyone
    • Have excellent Reverse Marketing and Cold Calling Skills
    • Can think on your feet and adapt to challenging situations
    • Are you a self-driven, motivated person who can work autonomously and achieve set goals?
    • Have strong administration skills, chasing goals and communicating with wide range of people
    • Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business targets and KPIs
    • Currently hold a valid driver’s licence

    A current Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent is a mandatory requirement for this position. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
