    Zonal Program Leader

    ZONAL PROGRAMME LEADER

    • Lead regular Zonal Program Leadership team meetings and provides periodic Business Platform and Local Concept Team reviews and consultations.
    • Trains and coaches the Local Concept Teams in preparing pre-launch and post-launch plan and ensures consistency of processes and marketing best practices are in place and followed
    • Develop and update 5-year operational plans and longer range 15 year program planning plan for the zonal programs and feeds information to Global Program Leaders for consolidation.
    • Responsible for collecting all key decision-making information and key technical and commercial assumptions and supporting reviews at the Business Platform Innovation Investment Forum
    • Flag issues and disconnections and escalate when required
    • Ensures annual update to program milestones, valuation, and risks, and work with various teams in preparing scenario analysis
    • Ensure program projects are in synch with local/CU/Regional forecast projects for new products to be launch within the IBP window
    • Leads and coordinates the Global Marketing Funding process for assigned programs within the region CU/countries’ process aligned with core team direction and Global Business Platform Innovation Investment Forum
    • Serve as a key linkage to the Commercial business during the demand planning process.
    • Feeds technical and commercial information inputted by Local Product Concept Team to Global Program Leader to update program information and valuation.
    • Organizes end of program final review (2 years post launch) and manages hand-over to “manage existing business” associates. Documents learning experiences.

    To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience including budget accountability, program management, and portfolio management
    • Must have experience working with product development teams.
    • Background in life science industry strongly suggested with Ag background preferred.
    • Must possess strong understanding of financial expectations and Business Platform performance requirements relative to Business Platform investments.
    • Experience working with diverse, highly educated, technical professionals is required as well as ability to communicate within and across CU’s and respecting local cultures.
    • Should be experienced with agriculture business and strategic planning with a preference for incumbent to have participated as member of a research and/or business leadership team.
