ROLE SUMMARY

Plant Engineering - Waste Water Treatment Plant, Boiler House, Buildings & Grounds

POSITION DETAILS

• Perform any mechanical maintenance, fabrication and installation.
• Responsible for the equipment start up, well-being and uptime.
• Carry out FPS requirements on shop floor level, housekeeping and equipment cleaning.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained and operated properly and safely.
• Mechanical operation and maintenance of pumps, filters, dosing systems, hydraulic systems, fluid valves, water systems, compressed air and boiler equipment, general building equipment and maintenance , etc.
• Effluent plant maintenance, chemical treatment, analysis of water and
• Dosing.
• Plumbing (incl. fixing toilets and unblocking drains).
• Carpentry work (incl. fixing furniture).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA)

• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• PC literacy, MS Office Excel, Word.
• Ability to do fault finding and work on your own.
• Some electrical knowledge would be advantages.
• Good physical health and strength.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

• N4 & Trade Test Certificate (Fitter )
• Preferable minimum of 2 years’ related technical experience.
