    Country HR Leader

    Job description

    Responsibilities :

    • Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Country Human Resources (HR) leader is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of human resources in line with IBM's People Strategy and priorities. The incumbent will be charged with aligning HR initiatives with business strategy, ensuring the attraction, development and retention of talent required to drive business growth. The Country HR leader will lead the HR team and is accountable for building functional capabilities, and integrating HR activities to enhance IBMer experience.
    • The Country HR leader is a member of the country leadership team and the regions HR Leadership team. The incumbent will provide thought leadership, consulting and coaching to leadership teams, with a particular focus on organizational culture and values, talent management, leadership development, succession management, IBMer experience, total reward, diversity and inclusion, and change management. The incumbent will work with other HR team members both across the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey region and globally.

    Required Professional Expertise

    • 10+ years overall business experience; significant portion in a HR leadership role.
    • Extensive generalist and specialist expertise across areas that include talent management, leadership development, organization effectiveness, and change management.
    • Demonstrable record of contributing to business results though innovative HR initiatives, enhancing employee experience, and building high performing HR teams.
    • Track record of effectively leading others, directly or indirectly.
    • Strong client engagement abilities
    • High levels of resilience and ability to successfully navigate within a global, matrixed and complex environment.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    At least 10 years’ experience in applying Human Resources Generalist knowledge in a complex, multinational, corporate environment
