Job description
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
The main objective of the programme is to ensure that every child and high risk group is fully vaccinated with high quality and effective vaccines against the target diseases according to recommended strategies.
Required Qualifications
Education
Essential:
Secondary School Diploma
Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Public Health (MPH) will be an added advantage University Degree/Diploma in Nursing or other Health related field from a recognized institutionRegistration with the relevant Health Professional Council required
Experience
Essential: At least10 - 15years experience performing duties in nursing, midwifery, EPI or other health service delivery areas.
Desirable: Vaccine preventable diseases, surveillance, epidemiology or statistics.
Skills
Epidemiology & Statistics, Nursing, basic concepts in disease control.
