This role analyses, coordinates and presents key financial analysis to aid in the implementation of the Ford South Africa Strategy for Finance - Marketing, Sales & Service.
Position Details:
- Preparation of SA & SSA retail and fleet quarterly / annual variable marketing programs
- Involved with the approval of SA & SSA variable marketing programs
- Liaise with C&I Coordinator (GTS) to ensure proper administration of Variable Marketing programs for SA & SSA (VINCENT System to be implemented in SA)
- Partner with Variable Marketing Forecast Team to understand budget and actual status
- Analyse prior quarter Variable Marketing programs to determine effectiveness
- Support Retail and Fleet Sales Managers with volume / mix reporting
- Support internal control processes for Regional Sales Office
- Prepare Regional Business Plan Submission and support Regional Managing Director in preparation of regional Business planning reporting
- Support fleet incentive process
- Active involvement with key stakeholders to improve sales/profitability
- Active involvement with pricing, to ensure pricing balances profit with volume
- Responsible for Domestic FMCSA month end actual wholesale volume reporting to FMCSA Finance skills team as well as the Price - Out team
- Responsible for Domestic FMCSA forecast wholesale reporting
- Identify Marketing & Sales synergies with other markets/Region
- Inventory optimization/Aged Stock
- Attend SA & SSA Sales volume planning/forecasting meetings & liaise with SA & SSA M&S operational teams to ensure projected forecast/budget & business plan / sales volumes are appropriately scrutinized
- Attend the SA & SSA Industry planning / forecasting meetings & liaise with SA & SSA M&S operational teams to ensure projected forecast/budget & business plan volumes are appropriately scrutinized
- Involvement with the development of the Business Plans for SA & SSA
- Assist with ad hoc requests in the Sales/M&S area, for example to support the M&S section in the Profit improvement plan
- Understand the profit line profit (PLP) & contribution margins of SA & SSA vehicle lines to support management decisions in regard to revenue management
- Support weekly MEA Pre Market Matters meeting as well as bi weekly Market Matters meeting as & when required
- Incentive payments to dealers including resolving queries on time

Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom in Finance or Accounting

M.B.A (preferred)

3-5 years Automotive finance experience

Marketing & Sales Finance experience (preferred)
