    Assistant Site Learning Manager

    Job description

    Main Job Purpose

    To provide overall training and development, administrative, coordinating support across the site ’ s manufacturing skills strategy.

    Job Summary

    • Manage coordination of overall training across site
    • Ensures compliance of and aligns site training strategy to the overall Manufacturing skills strategy
    • Monitors progress of training implementation against strategy
    • Reports on all training activities
    • Establishes and maintains a central interface between all key sub functions e.g. TPM, SHE, Quality, Engineering, Operations, HR, Finance
    • Ensures compliance of use of accredited training vendors to maintain consistency and quality in delivery of training
    • Manages training budget
    • Ensures BBBEE compliance
    • Ensures training committees are entrenched and active

    Key Requirements

    • Completed Degree in HR/ Learning / OR Technical related field and ETDP preferred
    • 3 years experience in a relevant training environment
    • 2 years Technical experience in a manufacturing environment
    • WCM, Lean Manufacturing, TPM lead pillar experience
    • Working knowledge and understanding of SAQA, NQF ’ s, SETA ’ s
    • *Must have *People development – top down capability building experience
    • *Must have Skills Audit working knowledge and experience, coupled with statutory training compliance
    • Thorough working knowledge of Learnerships, Apprenticeships and In-service Trainees
    • *Must have working knowledge and experience with new systems implementation and be innovative, highly influential and have solid leadership engagement
    • Assessor / Moderator will be an advantage
    • Skills Development Facilitator will be an advantage
