Requirements

• Matric
• Recognised Degree/Diploma in IT/Systems Management/Programming/Computer Science
• 2-3 years IT Support experience
• 2-3 years Desktop Software experience
• 2-3 years Server Software Configuration experience
• 2 years Hardware/Networking systems installation/management - Desktop and Servers
• General Knack for IT Infrastructure Support and Maintenance
• Ability to perform full IT support function including support, fault finding, configuration
• Windows, Office, ERP Front-ends
• Windows Server, ERP, Networking
• Desktops, Servers, Networking
• Must be MS Office proficient, advanced excel skills essential
• C#, MVC and OOP Programming

Duties and responsibilities:

• Perform Proactive Maintenance and Uptime Maximisation
• Ensure Accurate Asset Tracking and Logging
• Technical Support on Windows, Office, ERP, Hardware, Servers, Databases, Networks
• Updating ITIL Documentation and Asset Registers
• Address Production Orientated IT Issues
• Proactive IT Maintenance, patches, upgrades, security
• Produce code fixes to reported bugs and defects and extend existing application
• functionality based on user requirements
• Manage a task list of on-going bug and enhancement work, pro-actively providin feedback
• Work, communicate and integrate effectively with the other members of the team
• Demonstrate knowledge of C# (Framework 4.0), Object Orientated Programming, structured code design and WinForms based application development
• Work with non-IT technical users to understand requirements, identifying problem and providing solutions in a timely manner
• Provide regular progress reports.
• Must have full knowledge and should be able to adhere and implement the Software development Life Cycle
• Should be updated with the latest trends and technologies
• Create proper documents and reports
• Effectively manage projects and time
• Must be able crisis manage and prioritise
• Must be experienced to work across platforms
• A desire to understand the business aims
• Perform the various other duties associated with being an active member of an IT team such as contributing in Team Meetings, taking part to peer reviews, providing regular progress reports

C# Job purpose:

• To undertake coding and systems maintenance tasks in support of in-house ERP developed system
• Investigate and report on bugs and issues found in the live environment
• Code up bug fixes and system enhancements from user requirements
