    Job description

    KEY PURPOSE STATEMENT:

    To assist the sales and marketing team to implement the marketing and sales strategy to meet the strategic goals and objectives of the organisation.

    KEY FUNCTIONS

    • Brand
    • Maintain the brand bible in collaboration with the Designers
    • End user customer loyalty
    • Assist with end user/customer loyalty
    • Vendors
    • Assist with vendor management
    • Database
    • Administer the segmented stakeholder database
    • Knowledge base
    • Administer the marketing knowledge base
    • Content
    • Administer/manage/curate content
    • Administer content logistics
    • Do content 'traffic'
    • Campaigns
    • Assist with marketing campaigns
    • Resource Management - Technology
    • Work with selected technologies
    • Train and ensure internal staff want to and do use selected technologies
    • Administer sales systems ensuring accuracy and relevance of data
    • Analytics and metrics
    • Assist with analytics
    • Assist with marketing and sales metrics
    • Develop and maintain reports supporting sales KPI's
    • Distribute sales reports as specified by the business
    • Customer profiles
    • Maintain and coordinate updating of customer profiles
    • Research
    • Assist with research
    • Training
    • Assist with training
    • Manage training logistics
    • PR
    • Assist with PR
    • Events
    • Assist with events
    • Participate in marketing activities such as conferences and exhibitions
    • Sponsorship
    • Apply sponsorship strategy
    • Sales Admin and Support
    • Assist sales staff with admin, travel and logistics
    • Sales bid coordination
    • Facilitate meetings and coordinate sales team and customer diaries as required
    • Assist Account managers with scheduling
    • Drive account managers actions and deadlines
    • Sales Bid coordination
    • Minute Taking
    • Take minutes
    • Account Management Support
    • Assist Account managers with scheduling
    • Drive account managers actions and deadlines
    • Metrics
    • Assist with marketing and sales metrics
    • Process
    • Administer sales processes by driving compliance with metrics such as proposal response times, document quality/completeness and executive approvals
