    Turbine Fitter Trainee

    Job description

    Role Summary

    In this role the candidate will be developed over a 1 year period in areas of:

    • Package engineering for a wide range of power plant equipment
    • Assist Turbine Specialist to build and erect Steam Turbines
    • On Site Technical support to Centre line

    Essential Responsibilities

    • LP Turbine
    • Steam Admission Valves
    • Centre line
    • Quality
    • Safety
    • Identification of components and their purpose
    • Alignment of HP/LP Couplings
    • Recording documenting and ITPL's

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Artisans with Trade Certificate
    • Mechanical Fitter/ Fitter/ Fitter & Turner
    • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location

    Desired Characteristics

    Strong ability to communicate verbal and in written English
