Senior Front End Software Engineer at a Fintech Firm - AES Africa

Job description

Key responsibilities:

• Enhance and maintain existing and new software systems
• Estimating Planning, and continuously improving code quality, system design and process
• Work with the business to understand and implement requirements
• Work in an Agile environment, assisting in the transition towards Continuous Deployment
• Keeping awareness on changing industry ideas and practices, and monitoring emerging technologies
• Work with internationally distributed teams

Fintech :

• 5+ years’ experience in software development
• Strong knowledge and understanding of front end technologies and computer science principles.
• have a pro-active attitude and precise analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Experienced in the full software project life cycle
• Experience in enterprise software development in distributed architecture

Core Skills:

• AngularJs, SASS, HTML5, Protractor, TypeScript, Umbraco, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Unit Testing, Aglie Methodologies, Distributed Source control
• Other Skills (advantageous):
• SQL Server, NoSQL, ORM (NHibernate/EF), MSMQ/RabbitMq, Moq ,Continuous Integration.
