Basis Job Description

Hands-on SAP Senior SAP Basis consultant for technical installations, upgrades and operational system monitoring and maintenance (Support)
SAP Technical design, implement and deploy of new SAP solutions as per client requirements

Responsibilities:

Technical:

• Monitor, manage and support technical strategy for printing, faxing, Batch scheduling etc.
• Understanding of technical approaches for all systems integrating to SAP
• Manage 3rd party dependencies related to SAP environment
• Involved in technical architect design
• System landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios
• Deep understanding of SAP best practice for SAP landscape management, Backup, Recovery and Disaster Recovery
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Implementation, upgrade and support of the latest SAP systems versions. Skills required in Java and ABAP stacks,
• Deep skill in working with Unix / Linux operating systems
• Deep skills in managing SAP on multiple DB
• Experience with SAP Hana db installation
• Experience on other OS and DB versions is secondary. i.e. Microsoft, SQL Server , Oracle
• Hands-on Basis Solution manager “Managed system configurations” and “EWA setup”

Skills:

• Understanding of SAP best practice
• Technical professional with at least 1+ full life cycle SAP implementation, 1+ upgrade projects and multiple support projects
• Able to assess and manage technical risks and issues
• Should be open to learn new products and take additional responsibilities
• Able to report both verbally and in writing to executive level
