QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate and a Trade Test Certificate as Fitter
• Must have at least 2-4 years’ experience in Production factory maintenance (Baking)
• Experience with Baking Machinery, Packing Machinery, blowers, compressors and conveying systems will be a definite advantage
• Must have a Valid Code EB Driver’s License
• Have experience with electric arc flame welding
• Be able to do light boiler-making work
• Be able to work within a Plant Maintenance environment
• The ability to work overtime on weekends
• The plant runs a 24 hour shift and it is essential that you are able to adapt to our shift system

key Job Responsibilities

• To ensure efficient and cost effective maintenance to all mechanical equipment
• To be pro-active in identifying potential faults/breakdowns before they occur
• To ensure that all breakdowns are attended to in a cost effective manner
• To ensure that all information submitted on work orders is complete and correct
• To ensure that all completed work orders/documentation is submitted to the Maintenance manager for checking
• To ensure no comebacks and that proper fault finding procedures are correctly followed and recorded
• To ensure that 95% Plant availability
