Requirements

• 10-15 years (BSc)
• 15-20 years (B.Tech/Diploma)
• EPC / EPCM Environment
• Petro Chemical, Oil & Gas or Similar Environment
• Multi-Project Phase Experience
• Management of Medium scale Capital Projects
• Experience in site progress measures
• Experience in Managing Projects and Project Teams
• Knowledge of project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule.
• Specialist Knowledge of Codes of practice relevant to industry
• Extensive Knowledge of National and International Standards
• Prepare, Review and Approve Cable schedules that list all cable details and lengths
• Prepare, Review and Approve Cable Route diagrams to indicate cable route in site
• Prepare, Review and Approve Designing Loop drawings and Instrumentation Designs
• Completion of all Instrument Datasheets and Specifications
• Provide input to Process for P&ID's, Provide input to Process for Valve calculations
• Provide input into Control System Specifications, Auxiliary Systems and generate sections thereof
• Prepare and Review Safeguarding specifications and Cause & Effect Diagrams
• Prepare and Review C&I Content on process flow diagrams
• Prepare Equipment Datasheets and Technical equipment requisitions required for procurement purposes
• Assist in conducting technical bid analysis & tabulation which will be used to select appropriate vendors
• Review vendor information for technical detail and information
• Produce basic C & I scope of work subcontract documents for procurement purposes,
• Assist in the preparation of engineering designs for the varied Engineering and other related projects,
• Conduct Basic technical and feasibility studies and investigations,
• Participate in Hazop Studies, SIL Reviews and Alarm Rationalization,
• Liaising with various departments to successfully complete the C & I Scope of Work
• Performing research of processes and systems used in the discipline to understand the C & I design processes
• Understanding client requirements and providing solutions which are in line with the company’s business model, Completing tasks in accordance to the specific stages of the engineering design process
• Assist in preparation of package Engineering on Multi-discipline type packages
• Collaborate with the drafting team to ensure all drawings and designs are in-line with project specifications Prepare and / or review project standard specifications and design criteria
• Participate in and contribute to design reviews
• Conduct Site visitations to approve work carried out
• C & I consumer load list which provides a summary of all loads and details of each load
• Assist with development of man hour estimates
