    Sales Manager

    Job description

    Responsibilities:

    • National Sales
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
    • Develop Sales Channels to drive lead generation.
    • Build and lead a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
    • Negotiate and close agreements with corporate customers.
    • Lead on-the-ground efforts to recruit families, including Open Days, school tours, neighbourhood flyering, and other efforts.
    • Create, monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements.
    • Performance Management on Team Members, including coaching and professional development.
    • Participate in and drive own professional development.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports and forecasts.
    • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
    • Liaise with Marketing and Education Model (Product Development) departments to ensure brand consistency
    • Contact Centre
    • Determines call center operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analyses.
    • Collaborate with school leaders and office managers to ensure that all enrolment information is effectively transmitted to school sites.
    • Hire, train and onboard new Call Center Agents as required to meet quotas
    • Provide coaching and assistance to call center team leaders and agents on an ongoing basis.
    • Process weekly sales leads reports for submission to management.
    • Drive strong customer experience through the enrolment process.
    • Ensure that all employees follow the company’s best practices for call center management and operations.
    • Conduct periodic surveys of customers and potential customers to ensure quality control.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    NQF Level 7 Qualification in Sales, Business Management or Similar (Eg: Bachelors Degree, MDP, Post Graduate Diploma).

    Experience

    • At least five years experience in the fields of sales, marketing or retail operations.
    • At least three years line management experience.
    • Knowledge of CRM Software and Call Centre Software would be advantageous.
    • Previous Experience with Telemarketing would be advantageous.
