    Talent Acquisition Officer

    Job description

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
    • 2 - 3 years relevant experience

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish and deploy talent acquisition strategies and mechanisms to attract talented people.
    • Establish and promote the company's employee value proposition.
    • Build and maintain external talent pools, pipelines, and databases for key, critical, and scarce positions.
    • Present and promote the company at job exhibitions, career expos, and other marketing events.
    • Coordinate and apply the recruitment process, including the processing of recruitment requests, advertising of vacant positions (internally and externally), and sourcing of talented applicants.
    • Coordinate and apply the selection process, including cv screening, establishing selection panels, conducting competency - based interviews, organising psychometric assessments, conducting background and reference checks, and writing selection reports.
    • Coordinate and apply the appointment process, including the preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and other relevant documentation; enrolling new employeess on induction programmes; and ensuring successful on-boarding
    • Administer and maintain the recruitment system of the company
    • Maintain the human resource information system of the company in terms of vacant positions, new recruits, and new appointments.
    • Implement, maintain, and promote the career page of the company.
    • Apply and ensure compliance to relevant human resource policies, procedures and standards
    • Ensure compliance to relevant legislation such as the basic conditions of Employment Act, Employment equity Act, and Labour Relations Act.
    • Drive the achievement of employment equity targets as agreed with management
    • Liaise and partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders

    Preferred/Advantageous:

    • Registered with the South African Board of People Practices
    • Certificate in competency based interviewing or targeted selection
    • Knowledge of SAGE VIP People
