    Job description

    KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Opportunity Assessment
    • Market potential study collated and analyzed by sales area.
    • Generate insights from analysis & action appropriately.
    • Volume / Market Share / In-trade execution gaps identified & actioned.
    • Competitor activity identified & reported.
    • Customer needs ascertained & planned for.
    • Sales Planning
    • Customer database built & maintained.
    • Call schedules developed & maintained.
    • Daily / weekly / monthly planning.
    • Market potential opportunities identified, prioritized, actioned & tracked (Volume targets / Market Share / In-trade execution).
    • Promotions, Campaigns, & POSM planned, deployed & tracked.
    • Daily activities & Call objectives planned for.
    • Sales Execution
    • Calls carried out as per schedule.
    • Call execution & order objectives met.
    • Additional opportunities identified and appropriate action taken.
    • Call administration completed.
    • Competitor activities monitored and actioned against.
    • Customer negotiations conducted as required.
    • Information Systems
    • Information systems / tools fully utilized, Sales Force Automation
    • Authenticity and currency of information maintained.
    • Information security maintained in accordance with Company Information Protection Policy.
    • Sales Measurement
    • KPI progress maintained.
    • Expenditure controlled within budget.
    • Reports generated, analyzed, actioned & tracked.
    • Asset register maintained.
    • Marketplace Competitiveness
    • Customer service ethos implemented.
    • Customer relationships and leveraged.
    • Third party relationships optimized.
    • Corporate image maintained.
    • Customer service surveys.
    • Sales standards maintained.

    • Sales Administration & Performance Management
    • Reports completed and submitted timeously.

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    • Ideally: Under Graduate Degree in Sales / Marketing.
    • Legal: Min: Drivers License.
    • 5 year as a Sales Representative in a similar sales environment.
    • 5 year a marketing position in a similar sales environment.
