Communications Cluster Partner at ABB

Job description

The Cluster Communications Partner is a newly defined role that will support and enable the country communications managers with the execution of their country communications strategy. It is part of the global communications operations team and reports to the global head of Communications Operations. This is a key role in the transformation of communications in ABB, with a total of 10 positions available across the whole of ABB. Are you ready for such a challenge?

Tasks

• Drive the cascading of global communications objectives from global to country level within one market cluster 
• Consolidate and analyze market insights (e.g. internal business heat maps, external studies) and translate into actionable recommendations for head of Global COM Operations
• Support the country communications manager in developing the country communication strategy, aligning with the overall business strategy, country corporate initiatives, market segment strategies and Group priorities - Partner with country communications and global communications to align on key internal strategic communications 
• HR, health & safety, legal and integrity and country management 
• Cascade communications regarding transformation to country communications manager
• Support the consistent implementation of the corporate brand across all touch points in close collaboration with country communications management and aligned with global brand management 
• Regularly consolidate the measurement and evaluation of the effectiveness of the communication strategy against agreed

objectives and KPIs

• Liaise with adjacent functions and businesses to continuously analyze COM-related value drivers to improve KPI system
• Support communications function globally by identifying and developing communications talent within the cluster

Requirements

• Relevant University degree, preferably Master / MBA level or higher
• More than 10 years of experience in communications positions, agency or consultancy - Excellent project management and coordination skills 
• Proven track record of leading by influence
• Used to working in international environments (strong intercultural skills)
• Pragmatic and analytical mindset with focus on effectiveness
• Ability to work independently and the ability to make decisions 
• Fluent in English and at least one other language in the cluster
