    Financial Project Manager

    Job description

    Job Overview

    We are looking for an experienced Financial Manager. This role is one that needs to take the business to the next level. Finance is one area of business that presents the greatest opportunity for efficiency. Process automation, artificial intelligence, data science all present opportunities that KaeloXelus wants to embrace. In a rapidly growing organization there is an urgency around the implementation.

    Financial Manager (Finacial Project Mnager) Brief

    Financial project management responsibilities include oversight of KealoXelus projects and operational activities that have an impact on the company’s revenue. Ensuring that there is central financial oversight between the various business areas and finance and playing a key role in developing long term financial outcomes of the company to ensure a profitable future

    This individual will focus of

    • Identify areas within the business in need of improvement,
    • the adoption of new technologies including Xero accounting and its plethora of apps, the implementation of new initiatives that achieve the adoption of new technologies and drive efficiencies, streamline processes, and improve outcomes,
    • Ultimately automate manual (and duplicate) processes that will lead to a more efficient organization and drive down our resource and cost requirement
    • Meaningfully contribute to the management of the business’s day to day financial activities

    Education and Experience

    • Professional financial/accounting qualification
    • Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role (Project Manager/project administrator)
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Proficient in Xero

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate between various departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
    • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
    • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, invoicing and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans and revenue.
    • Develop trends and projections
    • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
    • Reporting
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
    • Report and escalate to management as needed
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

    Skills

    • This individual must embrace new technology and its role in improvement and efficiency
    • Proven Accounting/Financial background with a sound understanding of financial and accounting principles
    • Computer literacy (project ,word, excel, power point, outlook)
    • Ability to communicate on all levels externally and internally
