    Senior Marketing Analyst

    Job description

    Position Purpose

    To provide quantitative direction and expertise to management in the analysis of pricing, forecasting, information support, business analysis and the systems with which these functions can be achieved. Provides understanding to develop conceptual and computer-based models of international business trends and marketplace dynamics. Acts as the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa (MEISA) regional liaison between regional issues and corporate systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Researches and develops accurate forecasts which allow operating and administrative units to develop annual and long-range resource plans based on projected volumes and revenues. Involves local specialists knowledge and input to maximize accuracy
    • Analyses marketing, revenue/yield and operating data utilizing statistical and computer modeling techniques, both at a standard reporting level and through his/her own initiative.
    • Synthesizes economic data by sector; possible competitive action including service, pricing and recommends actions in response.
    • Incorporates all relevant economic, competitive and internal variables into computer models for analysis.
    • Develops flexible computerized forecasting systems which enable the quick generation of accurate forecasts both centrally and locally.
    • Develops computer models used for analyzing pricing proposals; develops conceptual models and validates key parameters. Searches for revenue opportunities and improvement.
    • Develops competitive intelligence systems for the acquisition, synthesis, and analysis of key competitive data and probable competitive strategic thinking
    • To design and implement MIS systems and information network across the region that ensure customer and prospect marketing communication and targeting techniques can be achieved in the most effective and efficient manner.
    • Uses technical expertise to initiate maximum use of market research analysis using mainframe systems in conjunction with models developed through outside Agencies.
