    Front-End Developer

    Job description

    Key responsibilities

    • Development
    • Code responsive mailers for multiple clients
    • Set up, test and deploy mailers, including cross-browser testing and client testing
    • Accurately upload and publish content via the applicable CMS, at times using short codes and making occasional WordPress template enhancements
    • Migrating staging links to live site
    • Problem solve and efficiently resolve technical challenges with designers, editors and freelance developers when required
    • Regularly audit and perform QA on digital platforms to identify issues and ensure they are performing optimally, delivering according to targets

    Analytics

    • Set up website goal and event tracking via Google Analtyics
    • Compile and deliver monthly analytics reports for websites and mailers using relevant analytics tools
    • Translate analytics into effective, valuable solutions and communicate recommendations to appropriate parties
    • Discover underperforming areas of websites or media campaign traffic. Identify opportunities to improve performance
    • Manage the ongoing development and maintenance of automated reporting dashboards

    Requirements

    • Minimum one year relevant experience, preferably in a marketing, publishing or agency environment
    • Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
    • Solid experience with Wordpress
    • Familiar with MailChimp, Everlytic and other email marketing tools
    • Experience with email client testing
    • Well versed in responsive mobile design
    • Proficiency in analyzing web traffic tools, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
    • Able to turn data into clear strategic recommendations and explanations
    • Working knowledge of SEO best practices
    • Be collaborative, able to work with designers, SEO specialists and account managers.
    • Organised and able to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines.

    Advantageous

    • Experience measuring success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns/efforts
    • Understanding of advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research
    • JavaScript
    • Facebook JS SDK
    • Custom PHP
