    Key Account Manager

    Job description

    Role summary

    A Self motivated, customer focused individual with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and with at least 5 to 10 years experience in the healthcare imaging environment either as account sales representative, technical or with radiographic experience. Please do not apply without the relevant experience.

    The Minimum Qualifications Should Be

    • Preferred Ndip. Eletronic Engineering or Higher, with proven Radiography sales experience.
    • Preferred Ndip. Radiography (Diagnostic) or Higher, with proven Radiography sales experience.
    • Or 5 – 10 years proven sales experience in the Diagnostic Radiography Healthcare Field.

     Requirements

    • The individual will be responsible for canvassing a territorial area for sales opportunities and overall account ownership and must demonstrate through experience a high level of customer commitment.
    • Report directly to the Head of Sales, daily interaction customers, product managers and other management. Ensures the implementation of the sales strategy, guidelines and targets in a specified region, for the portfolio of a unit, in order to increase sales with all kinds of potential customers, new account penetration, and to achieve defined financial goals and sales targets.
    • Manage Territorial Budget
    • Manage personal sales targets and revenue plans
    • Implementation of strategic sales plans
    • Delivery of accurate and on time reports
    • Pro-actively stimulate the market
    • Support of back office processes related to accounts
    • To collect information about market size, competition, market requirements & trends
    • To provide reports and or information as and when required by Management
    • To maintain SH@RE (CRM tool) data on a daily basis, and ensure accuracy of forecasting
    • Follows the CRM Sell Process
    • Manage Accounts, overall “Owner of Accounts”
    • Act as the primary contact to customer accounts, overall “owns” the account
    • Build trust relationship with customers to achieve and maintain satisfaction levels
    • Management of existing accounts, uncover new accounts, creation of sales opportunities
    • Establish the needs of customers and potential customers
    • Identify solutions to satisfy customer needs and requirements
    • Responsible for developing, implementing and closure of innovative sales programs
    • Canvassing for new customers
    • Interact with public and private sector customers in order to promote the Siemens brand
    • Ensure customers and potential customers are informed of products and service offerings
    • Monitoring and communicating on developments within the Healthcare Sector
    • Interact with numerous internal departments to ensure overall customer satisfaction of accounts
    • Work with the greater sales force to share best practices and assist in the success in all territories
    • Grow knowledge of the complete sales portfolio
    • Assist in preparation, submission and follow-up on tenders and quotations.
    • Maintain a business plan and forecast of expected orders for the assigned territory at regular intervals.
    • To participate at professional meetings and exhibitions
