    Consulting Technology Associate Director

    Job description

    Main Purpose of Job

    To play a leadership role in the Technology System Integration and/or Advisory & Architecture business areas, with a focus on the Financial Services Industry, through capability building as well as the sales and delivery of transformative technology and digital solutions..

    Qualifications & Experience required

    Required

    • Consulting experience from a top management or IT professional services firm
    • University degree;
    • Implementation of complex and innovative Banking solutions ( Insurance experience will be advantageous);
    • Financial Services Industry (FSI) understanding and experience;
    • Understanding digital transformation imperatives and technologies that enable digital transformation, especially in the Financial Services Industry.;
    • Demonstrable programme management skills and experience, including large-scale implementation;
    • Demonstrable sales and business development experience as well as key client relationships;
    • Ability to engage at with C-Level and Senior Executives;
    • Ability to analyze problems, find creative solutions and create business cases to support recommendations;
    • Ability to engage with clients to design and deliver transformative digital solutions that solve client challenges;
    • Autonomous, positive thinker, highly flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a team;
    • Understanding of Enterprise and Solution Architecture;
    • Proficient in Agile delivery and DevOps;
    • Financial acumen and ability to shape deals, manage risks and manage complex commercials ;
    • Ability to manage large teams and large client engagements;
    • Ability to coach and mentor staff;
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

    • Actively identifies multiple sales opportunities and leads pursuit process
    • Leads/contributes to preparation of proposals/tenders and presentations

    • Drives own client portfolio and profitable book of business

    Budgets / Profitability

    • Manages margins effectively through correct budgeting, pricing and profitability management
    • Negotiates pricing for engagements to ensure profitability whilst maintaining client interests
