Regional Compliance Officer at a Natural Resource and Energy Industry - McCann & Braham

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will perform risk assessments for all compliance related matters and adapt and roll out all corporate compliance policies and guidelines. You will be the regional go to person for all compliance related matters and provide training to the business whilst raising awareness within the group.
• Working with the corporate compliance team, you will be responsible for creating, implementing and monitoring controls. You will interact with other control function personnel and senior management in all lines of the business keeping abreast of regulatory developments as well as evolving best practice in all compliance related programmes.
• This is a great opportunity to be joining a dynamic and fast moving organisation. Ideally you will have a legal, auditing/risk or similar background with 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar function, preferably in an international corporation or commodity trading business.
• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a true team player with a willingness to travel occasionally. They must be have an independent and flexible work attitude and be able to work well under pressure .
