    Sales Specialist

    Job description

    We have an exciting opportunity available for a candidate to represent one of our client’s premium brands and strengthen the image credentials of the premium portfolio and ignite trends with influential consumer groups in order to grow the brands. Drive availability new drinking occasions across the brands to ensure a sustainable future growth.

    What the role will entail:

    • Create, develop and implement sales strategies for the premium portfolio
    • Ensure visibility and availability in targeted outlets
    • Daily focus on VMAPP for potential opportunities
    • Obtain listings in specialist retail on and off trade, and non-traditional spaces with the support of the Sales teams
    • Relationship development in on and off trade and non-traditional spaces
    • Drive education of premium brand through innovative activations, presentations, corporate and other tastings.
    • Maintain abreast of technical product specifications and global trends for premium brand
    • Attend Sales team meetings to ensure availability in listed outlets
    • Collaboration and interaction with Marketing team to support brand exposure
    • Develop and relationship with brand owners and report on sales, listings and premium brand exposure
    • Strict management of all Premium brand budgets and rebates
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
    • Target and results driven
    • Self-motivated and self-starter
    • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
    • Outgoing, energetic and ability to work with the public
    • Leadership skills
    • Well groomed
    • Able to work in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (sales, marketing & principals).
    • Willing to work non-conventional hours and travel within SA to deliver on national KPIs
