    Job description

    As a dynamic and fast growing  multi-national company, we are currently looking for a new team member to join us as a Finance Specialist in our African office in Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa


    • The Finance Specialist will be responsible for the following objectives:
    • Providing controlling, accounting and finance support to Africa and Americas markets, according to the local compliance and legal requirements, whilst taking joint decisions, evaluating, defining, analyzing and overviewing the entire flow, from administrative procedures to strategic decisions
    • Providing input & support to corporate areas (e.g. Legal, HR, Accounting, Intl. Operations) while developing the business, mainly in financial planning and analysis
    • Following up on relevant matters of the market by steering financial, controlling and administrative issues according to corporate guidelines & aiming to enhance the performance of BRF


    • Flexible, resilient and adaptable professional displaying advanced knowledge of financial and accounting theory, principles and practices, with ability to think strategically and tactically;
    • Analytical profile and solution-oriented problem solver;
    • Excellent organizational ability and capability of self-direction and drive;
    • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills with both external and internal stakeholders;
    • Multitasking ability with focus on delivering results within tight timeframes;
    • Ability to work in a fast moving environment
    • Strong collaborator and team player

    Specific Knowledge:

    • General accounting knowledge (Balance Sheet, P&L, etc.);
    • Financial concepts (WACC, CAGR, COGS, EBITDA, ROI, etc.);
    • Proficiency knowledge in Microsoft Excel

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor Graduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration;
    • 3 - 5 years' experience in corporate accounting and finance, financial planning and analysis, business management, office managing and others related;

    Experience in FMCG would be an advantage ;


    Fluent spoken and written English. Portuguese/Spanish would be an advantage .
