Skills and experience required:

• Relevant IT Degree or an equivalent tertiary qualification or working experience 2 years + for junior and 4 years + for senior positions
• Very good programming skills (Object Oriented, Data Types, Methods, Algorithms, Generics, Interfaces, Delegates, Inheritance, Repetitions, Classes, Polymorphism, Arrays)
• Proficient in C# , with a good knowledge of the ecosystems
• C#.NET, MVC, WCF, WPF, JQuery, JavaScript, .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0 & 4.5, 4.6, Prism
• Beneficial to have C/C++, Java, WiX experience (In certain roles, this is crucial, specifically for Pin Pad Integration where C and C++ Knowledge is crucial with the necessary EMV (Europay, Mastercard and VISA) Skills and POS knowledge))
• Strong knowledge of .NET framework
• Skill for writing reusable libraries
• Web Service / REST API calls
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
• Security - Awareness of secure programming concepts
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as TFS
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Beneficial to have exposure in DevOps and Agile methodologies
