Job description
The Sales and Rental Agent will be responsible for marketing residential property sales to existing property owners in an allocated portfolio with the specific purpose of achieving sales and rentals. Our Marketing strategy differs from other Estate Agencies as we focus on achieving sales within Faircape managed blocks and targeting existing customers.

We do not aim to increase sales by cold marketing (no cold calling or door to door sales).

We are looking for a highly motivated, driven and presentable individual to join our team. You will need to be the type of person who takes prompt action to accomplish objectives and continually strives for the achievement of your goals.

Requirements
Duties for this position include, but is not limited to the following:

• Marketing sales and rental services to an existing database of customers
• Become the specialist in specified residential blocks
• Acquire new sales and rental mandates
• Be able to negotiate and effectively close sales and rental deals
• Build and develop a pipeline of prospective clients
• Build relationships with existing clients
• Collaborating effectively with the team to achieve personal results
• Weekly reporting and feedback on marketing methods
• Direct reporting to Head of Sales and Leasing
• Contacting all new and existing owners to inform them of our sales and rental services
• Providing advice and consulting on the specific sales and rental market
• Gain knowledge of specific residential blocks
• Identifying new growth opportunities
• Recording and promptly acting upon customer’s requests and queries

Qualifications

• Valid Fidelity Fund Certificate
• Intern / Full status agent

Experience And Knowledge

• Previous rental and or sales experience required
• Must have detailed knowledge of the residential rental / sales market
• Experience in the Southern Suburbs and Muizenberg area will be an advantage.
