    Ingram Micro South Africa is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to look after the Networking Solutions Business

    Required Skills

    • The ideal candidate is capable of implementing strategic and tactical business plans with local country teams. You are a strong networker and communicator, with great commercial drive and stakeholder management skills.
    • The role is to sell products, services and solutions to customers, maintaining and improving on revenue and profit, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service within the Data Capture / Point Of Sale business unit. Individuals will be assigned a predetermined client base and also expected to look for and develop new accounts and opportunities wherever possible. The role will require a combination of external as well as telephonic interactions with customers.
    • The role is solution focused and individuals will be expected to develop a strong understanding of the relevant programs, offers, products, services and solutions offered by the Vendors within the portfolio to enable them to provide best in class service and support to their customer base. Individuals will also be required to support and provide cover for other members of the team when needed, in case of absence or to provide specialist knowledge in specific fields when requested.

    Your Profile

    • About 3 -5 years of professional experience
    • At least 2 years of business development experience in the IT industry, during which you have specialized yourself in DCPOS Products.
    • Great understanding of IT channel and the reseller business model.
    • Skilled in writing business plans, contributing to strategic plans, and devising reporting to track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and return on investments (ROI).
