    Job description

    Sentera Business Partners (www.sentera.co.za) offers outsourced accounting, tax and payroll services to SME’s. This is a great opportunity for a SME accountant to work for a small but rapidly expanding business such as ours.

    Your work would entail servicing a portfolio of SME clients, with all related services as well as being able to add your value to each of these clients.

    Responsibilities/Job requirements

    • Assist with ad-hoc consulting and clean up projects on new clients
    • Ensure client’s accounts are kept up to date and accurate
    • Prepare monthly management accounts
    • Dealing with SARS queries
    • Tax planning
    • Compilation of Annual Financial Statements
    • Assist clients with budgeting and forecasting
    • Interacting with clients
    • Make pro-active recommendations to our clients to help them grow their businesses
    • Contribute to an innovative culture by constantly questioning processes and by suggesting/implementing new ideas (for us and for our clients)

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • SAICA or SAIPA articles
    • Advanced computer literacy (Experience with Xero will be an advantage)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • 2+ years experience in a full accounting function
    • Experience in dealing with SARS
    • Deadline management
    • Attention to detail
