Job Description

We’re looking for a senior, security focused, DBA to join our INFOSEC Team. In this role you’ll act as the focal point for all Database Security and best practice, security related, recommendations.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Enhancement of DOS systems Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability
• Act as an interface between INFOSEC and other teams including Enterprise/Infrastructure and Architecture
• Keep abreast of new technologies being considered/practiced
• Taking responsibility for sharing knowledge of technology updates to the wider team
• Act as a mentor defining, demonstrating and communicating best practice to other team members
• Engage with the wider IT project management teams to ensure early visibility of upcoming projects, and to support with the system/infrastructure design process
• Identify and patch known and reported Vulnerabilities
• Record database security configuration and store securely
• Mature database security procedures and policies
• Define and implement secure database / application architecture
• Audit database logins, user activities (UeBA) and alert on anomalous activities using Elasticsearch
• Develop Daily Security Checklists
• Develop a one stop portal for all Database Security/Posture (Elastic Search)
• Document Database Interconnectivity
