Areas of responsibility
- General secretarial duties including: Admin, photocopying, faxing, scanning and e-mailing, meeting arrangements; filing etc.
- Processing invoices on Iproc & reconciling incorrect/duplicate invoices;
- Counterfeit matters: Liaison with IP Attorneys; liaising with T/W internal staff on counterfeit or original garments; Maintaining spreadsheets; drafting of letters to infringing suppliers & shops; keeping records and an updated list of ongoing matter;
- Typing up & correcting of commercial documents ,agreements and letters;
- Updating of Contracts Repository
- Keeping various lists in the legal department up to date and accurate;
Key requirements and competencies:
- 5 years plus experience
- Experience as a Senior commercial or intellectual property secretary or paralegal
- Ability to work independently
- High levels of Computer literacy is essential
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Planning/organizing ability with highly effective time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
- Excellent verbal communication and people skills
- Strong team player, committed and energetic
- Knowledge of intellectual property procedure (trade marks and counterfeit goods)
