Qualifications and Experience:
- A tertiary qualification in management and/or sales and marketing
- 6 to 10 years’ experience in the bread industry in a sales function that includes co-ordinating a sales team
- Bread specific industry experience within the Top End Grocer and the Local and Traditional market and proven customer relationship management in both these segments
- Proven experience of supply chain management in the bread industry through multi-distribution centres

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain an efficient and cost effective route planning system
- Implement and manage pre-set volume targets
- Daily management and control of a sales team
- Ensure that returns are minimized and controlled daily in line with pre-determined targets
- Daily reporting on route sales and return volumes as well as timeous departure of delivery vehicles from the Bakery/Depots
- Manage and control daily driver shorts
- Effective handling of customer complaints
- Manage and implement promotions to ensure sales growth
- Manage merchandising companies
- Manage profitable pricing in the Local and Traditional Market
- Develop and optimise the Forecourt segment
