The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Manager Enterprise Security will be responsible for the following:
- Develop vetting policy and framework including the implementation of communication processes, interventions, projects and campaigns that support ACSA's vetting policy and processes;
- Manage vetting investigations and adhere to governance, in line with legislative and regulatory requirements (ICAO, NKP, SACAA);
- Lead the information security processes and measures within the organization;
- Develop and oversee information and cyber security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines; manage the process for regular management review and ratification of policies and standards;
- Conduct information security risk assessments and compliance audits to monitor, surface and treat security risks related to major business and technology initiatives within the organization;
- Maintain and ensure integrity and effective retrieval of information by controlling authorized access and restrictions;
- Monitor the application of information management processes;
- Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required.
- Track and monitor expenditure.
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
- A relevant Bachelors€™ degree;
- 8 years€™ operational experience in management of information/vetting;
- 5 years€™ managerial experience in employee security and stakeholder management;
- In-depth professional knowledge and experience in airport operations and aviation;
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and planning processes in all spheres of government;
- The candidate must have no criminal record, and will need to adhere to security clearance procedures.
