    Social Media and Inbound Marketing Coordinator

    Job description

    • You will be in charge of attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business, and nurturing those leads to close into customers, the latter of which sales leadership will help you accomplish.
    • You will also be in charge of our social media accounts and to keep our website relevant and up-to-date. Implement strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.
    • You will also have to acquire new leads and customers through online pay-per-click and cost-per-acquisition campaigns. You will be in charge of all external, online acquisition marketing, managing the strategy, execution, and optimisation across channels. 
    • You will also be responsible for the planning and coordination of exhibitions and other events such as golf days etc.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, Facebook, LinkedIn, reports, webinars, infographics, Google AdWords etc.).
    • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content.
    • Optimise our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
    • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
    • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, LinkedIn, AdWords and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
    • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.
    • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
    • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, AdWords Keywords etc.).
    • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
    • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
    • Track, measure, and analyse all initiatives to report on social media ROI.

    Requirements:

    • BA/B.com degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Some experience in marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation, blogging software, Social Media and Google AdWords in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.
    • Bonus skills: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), as designing also forms part of your responsibilities.
