    Charter & Groups Manager

    Job description

    We are currently one of the largest Adventure Tour Companies in Africa and are recruiting at our Head Office in Somerset West. We are seeking a dynamic CHARTER & GROUPS MANAGER with experience to join our young vibrant team and lead them to great destinies. In order to qualify for this position the ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and be fluent and professional in their daily conduct.

    Duties will include (but not limited) to:

    • Develop and expand the sales and marketing plan.
    • Expanding work for the Charters Department.
    • Organise and arrange Sales and Marketing material for Charters.
    • Maintain and develop relationships with current and new agents.
    • Negotiating contracts and finalise pricing.
    • Submit weekly & monthly Charter Report to senior management.
    • Check monthly Profit & Loss of Department – GP Analysis.
    • Do a GP Analysis per contract.
    • Monthly checks that all account issues are up to date.
    • Assist with quoting, bookings and process of a confirmed tour.
    • Guide Briefings
    • Management of the Charters Team and staff members.

    To excel in this position you will require the following qualifications:

    • 3 – 5 years Managerial experience in the Tourism Industry in SA.
    • Diploma in the Tourism Industry a definite distinct advantage.
    • Experience with Tourplan Reservation system a definite advantage.
    • Computer literate and proficient user of Microsoft Office.
