Key Responsibilities:
Provide Anti-Spam and Anti-Abuse support, including but not exclusive to:- Maintenance of Real-time Block Lists, Real-time Allow Lists, URI Block Lists, and feedback loops
- Email traffic analysis and activity detection based on real time activity reporting
- Immediate response to new outbreaks to protect customers' accounts and Mimecast services
- Provide exceptional levels of support to all customers at all times
- Report on latest threats and trends for internal and external communication
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Within this corporate IT environment, you will be required to have:
Essential
- Working knowledge of messaging (email traffic management) and routing
- Experience and a basic understanding of email security technologies
- Understanding of SMTP, POP3, TCP/IP, DNS, IMAP and SSL/TLS
- Experience working with spam/malware detection and blocking techniques preferred
Desirable
- Prior experience of working within SaaS environments would be an advantage
