Technical Specialist at Pioneer Foods

Job description

Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Technical Specialist (Maintenance Planning) at their Pioneer Foods, Groceries, Cereals, (Weet-Bix) in Atlantis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a specialised technical service on site or out in the field, especially in an advisory or consulting capacity. Normally reports to Functional Manager.

SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

• Developed data specifications & documents for maintenance planning.
• Scheduled maintenance activities.
• Implemented reactive & preventative maintenance.
• Manage internal maintenance projects. Controlled maintenance cost.
• Ensured occupational health & safety and compliance.
• Controlled equipment & spares inventory.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• 4 - 5 years experience in a similar role.

MINIMUM QAULIFICATIONS:

• Technical Trade N4 (Mechanical / Electrical) or National Diploma in Engineering.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer skills including SAP PM, MS Office - Excel, Work Outlook.
• Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
• Cost analysis and work within a structured budget.
• Organizational and planning skills.
