Our client, a multinational IT Services Organisation is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will have in depth experience of Business Intelligence Software and associated Services.

Ideally applicants will have experience of a client facing, pre-sales role within a multinational vendor or consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis of customer requirements.
• Development and delivery of technical demonstrations to partners and perspective customers.
• Support of Proof-of-Concepts.
• Play an active role in the sales process, providing technical & functional support.
• Training of customers and partners.
• Assist in internal knowledge transfer.
• Report status of sales cycles and time utilisation on a timely basis.
• Contribute to achieving quota goals each quarter.
• Qualifications and Experience
• Excellent communication & presentation skills are a must.
• Strong business acumen and commercial skills.
• Ideally 5 years plus experience of successful BI software Solution Architecture or Pre-Sales.
• Extensive, hands on exposure to SAS, Cognos, Qlikview, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Business Objects or another leading BI offering.
• A proven track record within a multinational environment.
• A development background in .NET, Java, JavaScript or similar is preferred.
• Willingness to travel, up to 25%.
