Desired Skills and Experience
Description of Role:

• Our national practice assists clients both locally and internationally in providing ERP data analytics and information management services. These services cover the following main areas:
• Assurance and Risk Data Analytics
• Fraud and forensic analytics
• Process compliance analytics
• SAP data analytics
• Continuous control monitoring
• Building data mining and management reporting platforms
• Results visualisation

The main role A1 to A3:

Programmer data analyst in delivery on the various engagements as described above. Ability tvisualise results with SSRS, tableau or any other visualisation tools an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract or collect required data for analysis from SAP or other ERP systems.
• Perform data reconciliation procedures tconfirm completeness of data extract.
• Support the assessment of the data including data validation and profiling.
• Prepare programming logic ttest identified data analysis business rules, by coding SQL Server T-SQL queries.
• Verify results against given specifications.
• Prepare results for review process and update scripts accordingly.
• Visualisation of results
• Prepare working papers documenting steps followed during data assessment process.
• Abide by the project guidelines tmanage and secure client data.

Qualifications/Experience:

The ideal candidate should have or be in the process of obtaining:

A1

• Programming qualification (certificate or diploma) in basic or advanced Structured Query Language programming.
• Experience in SSIS and SSRS an advantage

A2

• Programming qualification (certificate or diploma) in basic or advanced Structured Query Language programming.
• +1 year(s) SQL programming experience.
• Specialisation in Microsoft T-SQL an advantage, however not a pre-requisite.
• Experience in SSIS and SSRS an advantage

A3

• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in either:
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Database Development.
• +2-3 years SQL programming or other data analyst experience.
• Experience in both SSIS and SSRS an advantage.
• SAP systems and table structure knowledge an advantage.
• B.Com Informatics / BSC Honours degree with an active interest in programming will be tthe advantage of the candidate. Candidates will need ttravel tthe UK and hence will need tbe able tsuccessfully pass the UK embassy approved English test.
